Brian Denniss

Record type: Motorsport Biographies

Biography: At 28, Brian Denniss is an engineer from south-west London. Although enterect for the 1955 Senior Clubman's races a crash in practice caused him to be a non-starter. The gremlins pursued him to the 1956 Manx Grand Prix, for he was plagued with machine troubles during the practice period, and so was unable to complete the necessary number of qualifying laps. He rode a "Norton B.S.A." in the 1958 Senior Manx, but his luck was still out—he retired on the third lap. And he was unlucky again in last year's Senior Manx, for he had to retire on the first lap.
