Biography: Age 19, John Alan Dugdale comes from Alvanley, via War-rington, Lancs. He first rode in the T.T. last year, but he has had experience on short circuits and collected six firsts at Rhydymwyn in 1959, also finishing well up in races at Charterhall, Oulton.
In last year's T.T. he finished tenth in the Lightweight (250) race, but retired on the last lap of the "125". Later in the season he collected second and third places at Oulton Park. At Aintree last Whit Monday he was second in the 250 c.c. race and third in the "125". He is entered by Dugdale, Greenbank Garage, Alvanley. Hobbies: "Blondes and golf."
