David Duncan

Biography: Age 24, David Duncan is an instrument maker, and comes from Glasgow. He has ridden in several races at Errol, Kirkcaldy and Charterhall with good placings, and in 1958 he rode in the 350 c.c. Snaefell race and finished 19th on a B.S.A. at 77.19 m.p.h. This gave him an entry in the Junior Manx of the following day, in which he finished bracketed 42nd at 78.60 m.p.h. In 1959 David finished 21st in the Junior Manx at 84.90 m.p.h., winning a Replica, but he did not ride in the Island last year. His machines for this year's races have been kindly loaned to him by Mr Frank Robertson, of Alloa; the Senior is a 1960 model and the Junior a 1961. Hobbies: "Loafing and day dreaming."
