Biography: Mount: Junior – Velocette
Age 39, No newcomer to the Course: he has ridden in four M.G.P’s and two T.T’s with one finish to date – in the 1934 Lightweight “Manx”, when he came home sixth on a 250 Calthorpe. Is a past winner of the Hutchinson 100 at Brooklands, has held the 250 Mountain record, and is a Gold Star holder. Most of his riding has been done in trials especially M.C.C. events on 250 c.c. machines with sidecar.
Is in business as a motor cycle agent. Was a Civilian Instructor during the war, two years with the R.A.F., three with the Army. Hobby – fishing.
