Biography: Age 29, Philip Palmer is a joiner and comes from Brighouse, Yorks. He has been riding in the Island since 1953, when he was fourth ihn the Junior Clubman's TT, winning the same event the next year; three months later he was 20th in the Junior Manx Grand Prix. Turning to the TT in 1955, he was 39th in the Junior and 34th in the Senior riding BSA's; he has not competed in the TT since then.
