Biography: Junior - Velocette
Lightweight - Guzzi

Aged 34, a motor-cycle engineer, of Dibden, Perlieu, nr Southampton, who proclaims his hobby (other than motor-cycling) is gardening! The crowds idol at Cadwell Park, Tommy Wood won 42 races last year, and in his first appearance in T.T. finished eighth in the Junior and eleventh in the Senior, gaining a first class replica in each.

His Velocette is a new standard Mk. VIII model, and is entered in the Junior by A. R. Taylor Garages Ltd., of Shipton-on-Stour. His Guzzi is also a new standard model, his entrant in the Lightweight being Capt. Wilkins of “Keswick” fame.
