Along with Melvill Allisson, 18, and James Killip, 21, order of High Bailiff Quirk for stealing 3 geese from Ballaughton Mill. 13 December sent to Douglas to be tried. All found guilty. 14 December sentence, fined 1/- each and to be imprisoned for 2 calendar months and kept to hard labour. The term of their sentence expired, could not pay fines. Age: 17.
