Biography: Age 28, motor engineer, of Liverpool. Rode in the 1947 "Manx", but crashed at Cruickshank's Corner, Ramsey, and retired, luckily escaping with bruises. Rode the same Velocette in last year's Junior and Senior T.T. races. Finished forty-first in the Junior, but ran out of petrol in the Senior and retired.
