Biography: Sergeant Ronald Lankester was a navigator in the RAF. He was reported missing from operations in April 1943, at 19 years old. He had been in the RAF for fifteen months and was an old boy of the Douglas High School. Lankester was in the School A.T.C. Flight before joining the RAF (Isle of Man Times; 17th April 1943, p.5).
