Biography: An enthusiastic member of the Isle of Man Art Society for over 40 years, Betty Savage was known for her delicate watercolours of local scenes and often exhibited with the society. In her later years she carried on attending workshops at Thie Ellyn despite her deteriorating health and even continued to paint after being admitted to Hospice care. She is buried at St. Matthew's Church in Douglas.
