Maughold Cross Slab

Period: Early Medieval

NGR Easting: 249310

NGR Northing: 491695

Description: This small fragment was found during renovation work to the church in 1900.

It is part of a larger slab and shows a portion of a band with a double-beaded plait-of-four. The curvature of the band suggests that it is part of the arc of the ring surrounding a wheel-headed cross.
