Cotton Framed Medallion Quilt

Description: A cotton framed medallion patchwork quilt with a central design of hexagons arranged in a six-pointed star pattern within a diamond. A series of three irregular shaped borders change the diamond into a square which is then surrounded by two concentric bands. The quilt is made of a variety of plain and patterned cottons with most of the colours now faded apart from the various red and dark blue fabrics.
The quilt is backed with white cotton fabric.
The quilt was inherited by the donor from Edward Christian of Northop, Greeba.
