Mourning dress

Description: Women's black silk mourning dress with pleated frill around hem and beige cotton lining. Slightly different shade of black silk (joined) bodice. Cream lace trim on cuffs, black braid and bead decoration on bodice and a black crepe insert down centre front of bodice. Stand up collar. 136 x 4.6cm.

The dress belonged to the donor's great-grandmother Clague who lived at 'Sea Level' house, Laxey Beach.
