Rushen Internment Camp collar stud box

Description: A semi-circular handmade cardboard box with a hinged lid, covered in turquoise blue silk fabric with 'Studs' embroidered on lid in purple thread. The edges of the box are embroidered in blanket stitch in purple thread. The box is covered in silk ribbon that has faded and discoloured and was made to hold collar studs.
The box was made by Rosemarie and Anita Dalheim as a present for their parents, whilst in Rushen Internment Camp during the Second World War.
