Description: Geological specimen 2 samples from late 19th century mine dumps 'Kirk Michael mine' above Michael reservoir. Worked 1858-60 and 1868 to 1883. A/ milky quartz vein in Manx Group phyllite (7cm long). B/ milky quartz and dolomite brecciated vein in Manx Group phyllite. C/ brecciated/fractured milky vein quartz in pelitic Manx Group country rock.
