'Mona's Isle'

Description: Paddle Steamer Mona's Isle of the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company. Three legs of Man clearly visible on the paddle box along with the blue pennant carrying the ship's name and from her rear mast a blue pennant with a white border. This is the signal flag 'Sierra' which when flown alone in this way usually indicates 'engines going astern.'
This was the Steam packet company's first vessel, built at Port Glasgow by John Wood in 1830. It entered service on 16 August of that year.
