St Patrick's Isle Pagan Lady Burial Glass Bead
Date made: Viking: 800-1265
Description: Long medium cylindrical/square cut, dark translucent blue. The shape tapers so it is narrower at one end. Broken in two and with parts chipped and missing . Also included is the mass of organic matter - leather/wood - in which the bead was sitting in situ. This matter also contains bronze or copper fragments.
