St Patrick's Isle Pagan Lady Burial Glass Bead
Date made: Viking: 800-1265
Description: Globular melon-type, transparent and colourless. Some debris from inside the inner hole of the bead also included.
Scientific analysis of chemical composition by Julian Henderson showed a content of mostly silica dioxide for the matrix.
Part of conjectured necklace reconstruction (right side).
