Lead ore, iron ore, copper ore and quartz

Description: Three samples in one tray. One is a single, milky white, euhedral quartz crystal. Second is a layer of vuggy, euhedral galena with part of the country rock present. The country rock is fine-grained, grey with a grey-veined appearance, not typical of Manx Group. The third sample has coarse, euhedral, clear quartz crystals grown on subhedral haematite with a large aggregation of fine, platy minerals, probably sphalerite. In a second tray is a large mass of anhedral chalcopyrite. Sample in a second tray is quartz and euhedral dolomite/calcite with minor chalcopyrite. Sample in third tray is a mass of euhedral, sparry quartz.
