St Patrick's Isle Pagan Lady Burial Amber Bead
Date made: Viking: 800-1265
Description: Symmetrical annular bead with large central hole. Finely polished semi-translucent orange with some internal fracture lines.
Found in the waist area to the left of the skeleton and was associated with the slightly smaller amber bead (1984-0016/46) and the ammonite fossil (1984-0016/26). All three were most likely originally suspended from the waist.
Measurements: 33mm; hole 17mm x 6mm
