Description: Portrait of two women (mother & daughter) wearing floral dresses and purple cardigans/jackets. Woman on left - younger with short curly hair and holding left hand up. Woman on right - older with centrally parted hair with coils over ears. Right hand raised. Purple swirling patterned wallpaper behind subjects, and a painting of a young woman with black high-necked dress and white headdress (Esther Jane Bridson, formerly Matron of Noble's Hospital 1906-1923). This painting is also in MNH collection and is accessioned as 1987-0091.
