Brown silk dress
Date made: late 19th century
Description: Brown brocaded silk dress. Bodice is decoraded with brown silk bias tapes on sleeves and lace trim on front. Hook and eye fastenings (now mainly rusted out) and lined with white cotton inside bodice and sleeves, lined with dark brown silk at the cuffs. Has been re-worn, with added lace.
Marked in pencil with 'Daugherty'.
