Violin
Date made: late 19th-early 20th century
Description: This violin is made of maple with a spruce top, and has fittings of ebony and boxwood. It has an unusual double band of purfling, giving this musical instrument an ornate appearance. The violin was played by the donor's uncle, Robert Corlett, a Sulby postman. There is a double row of purfling, decorating the violin.
