Cotton Striped Quilt

Description: A blue and pink cotton striped patchwork quilt, the colours have faded and bleached out in places and the ends of the quilt have been mended and repaired with a pink and white striped fabric.

The quilt is backed with pieces of plain white cotton fabric and is predominantly hand quilted with areas of zig-zag quilting, straight lines and lattice patterned diamond qulting with white cotton thread. The quilt also has lines of machine stitching and the border is attatched with single lines of machine stitching.

The patchwork quilt is from the home of Miss Mona Woodworth, Port St Mary.
