Description: Bryan Kneale RA (b.1930) is one of the most accomplished of the modern generation of Manx artists. In his early career he excelled as a painter, but later undertook a search for new directions, from which he emerged as a sculptor, having learnt the art of steel welding along the way. This piece was inspired by Kneale’s work on the bone collection at the Natural History Museum, London.
