English-style Pieced Panel
Date made: early 20th century
Description: A long panel of tumbling block pattern patchwork in dark blue, purple, brown and green woollen and tweed fabrics with a red feather stitch decoration.
The panel is backed with pink and green floral cotton fabric and has dark red woollen bound edges. The fabric on the shorter sides appear to have been added at a later date.
The panel was originally purchased in the north of the Island.
