Clarinet

Description: Musical instrument. This clarinet is made of boxwood with ivory mounts. It was used in funeral processions, and other functions on the Isle of Man. This instrument also belonged to the Onchan Friendly Society. The mouthpiece is damaged and the instrument is missing all of its keys. Inscription reads: C.GEHOCK / 79 / CORNHILL / LONDON / [UNICORN] / C.
