Description: Portrait of Sir John Senhouse Goldie Taubman. This oil was posthumously painted in 1901 as one of a pair. One portrait was presented by the Goldie Taubman family to the House of Keys in memory of Sir John’s time as Speaker of the House. This painting was hung in the dining room of the family home, the Nunnery, where it stayed until 1972, when the Nunnery was sold.
