HMS Racehorse sheet

Date made: Built 1806

Description: Thin and bent with twelve pierced holes on the edge, two broad arrow marks (to the left in image). Large copper plates were fixed with copper nails all along the hulls of ships to protect the wood from salt-water and pests.
